I've decided I support Newcastle United now, I think I used to when I was about 8 years old . Anyway, we played sort of crap tonight, not many great scoring opportunities, though entertaining second half. Up 1-0 at H/T courtesy of Captain Nolan's well-taken penalty, Newcastle fans had plenty of reason to be confident of a win at St James Park..
Problem was, Stoke City came to play in second half, levelling early in the half from a double-header. Then tragically late in the half, Newcastle right back (forgot his name) gave away an own goal; heading in a well placed corner.
Despite frantic attempts to get the equaliser, Newcastle couldn't get it, and Stoke CIty celebrated their first win at St James Park since 1976.
