The most cards with the same pic

I just saw a thread asking for a price on a particular card. So i googled that player and saw at least 9 cards with the same photo being used.
So i thought i would put it out there, and see if 9(there could be many more) was a high number or maybe someone knows of more.

I could be very wrong, but they all look like the same photo to me.

Panini and any player they use regularly from pre 1990. I know Mark Aguirre has been used with the same pics many times over...

I'd have to say the UD college stuff is by far the worst. You get a DJ black and white photo on about 50 different sets.

I know the argument is made that there aren't a lot of photos' from those eras, but I think that's is all the more reason for making less of those cards.

Just wanted to add another perspective to the picture used a few times issue, is the 'back of card text' used a few times.

I used to hate UD auto card which would have their bland repeated certificate on the back of their auto cards. So when Panini came and put some nice stats and some story on the back I was happy, but recently got an NT card and then an Immaculate card which both read the same story on both cards.

Could they not find something else to write about Peja?

It is true they all do this, What I have found with Pennies cards panini use 1 photo for most of the releases for the whole year... So you get excited when the cheapo start of year products have a new picture and then by the time Flawless and Immac rock around you are sick of buying cards with the same picture but you still get them because they are from the better product!

UD with the College unis is probably the worst as Kb stated, just the same old pictures over and over but still with each new product you still keep buying because... well its new!!

I also agree with the back of card text... its only 10-15 words surely you can come up with something else!!!

At least 70% of all my Faried Rookie year cards (I have 190+) contain the same text - talking about winning mvp of the rising stars challenge. The odd card from 13-14 still mentions it also.

I'm going to go through my GP's and see what I can find. I'm sure there will be a shed load of cards with the same image/text.
