So Lebron leads the Heat to their best ever win/loss season, the second longest win streak ever, the best record in the league and he does is shooting a ridiculous percentage. And that isn't more valuable than Melo?
Put it this way, if Bron was at the Knicks i think they would of done a whole lot better than with Melo there.
Honestly, this guy has made himself look like an idiot.

Homer much? Leave the guy alone I think he is right. Lebron is the best player in the league, doesn't make him the most valuable. Realistically playing on a stacked team should actually preclude him from winning the award because there is so much talent and "value" around him. I think Lebron may have done about the same in New York, maybe come playoffs he would lead them to a conference finals loss or a finals loss... much like Melo MIGHT do... Lebron needs his friends to win a title - as would most anybody these days.
I think the vote to Melo was brave and definitely not worth derision or insults.
I think he makes a valid point - The MVP is not an award for the Best player but should be for the player who makes or breaks a team. Miami without Lebron would still easily make the playoffs but I could not say the same thing for OKC without Durant, NYK without Melo or GSW without Curry. Lebron is the best player in the NBA right now and is the MVP of the Heat but not the NBA MVP
* Correction - To the NBA association he is the Most "Valuable" (makes them the most money) Player
Melo injured at the start of season, Lebron 'injured' at end. Both made epic cases for MVP. I was surprised it was that close to unanimous, there's usually always a homer here or there that picks the 2nd 3rd or 4th MVP fav!
I dont think mvp means anywhere near as much as it used to, its like a popularity race these days and quite frankly i couldn't care less who wins it at the end of each season. The defensive player of the year is kind of the same these days also, if you rebound and block a lot your going to always be up there, what about the good old lock down defender like bruce bowen why cant they win it?
