UFC The Iceman Retires!

Chuck Liddell has retired from fighting to become the new UFC Vice President of Business Development, which basically means helping the organisation to continue to grow.
Wonder what this does to his card values? I'm assuming that a Hall of Famer not having any more fights probably pushes the value of his cards up, now that the career is "done".

Considering who he is and what he has done his card values at the moment are very cheap. I think they can only go up, probably not instantly with this announcement as I think it was already pretty common knowledge he was done fighting after being KOd by Franklin, but I think they will definately rise eventually.

Agreed, Im glad he decided to do this rather then go fight in strikeforce or somewhere else.

In a way, I am glad that he has retired. I do not want to watch him fade and get beaten by lesser foes. It taints the memory of a great fighter.

Totally agree. This way he stays a legend, while still having an active presence in the UFC.

Yeh well put siege. at least this way he is still tied with ufc in his new job.
