The Hawthorn toughness, effort and spirit looks to be back!!!!

the hawkers played a super game against the pies last night... I could tell from the first few minutes of the game that they brought their 2008 mindset to the table... they were quick, brash, exciting and they roughed up the in form pies to the tune of 45 pts...

hopefully the tide has finally turned... my gut feel in the last qtr against north last week, when they came from behind and overan the roos, was that this could be the beginning of the resurgence... cant lose too many more and we have to increase that percentage considerably (nothing 2 or 3 blowout wins cant fix) gotta make the finals first, then hopefully do some sort of damage in the finals

yeah they played really well, i think one of the main reasons for this is because they have chucked luke hodge back into the middle, and buddy looks like he is back!

Awesome to watch and made me excited, especially considering the $50 i had on the Hawks. Last week Q4 wasa turning point you could see it. it was like they said we have had enough of playing this crap football.

Funny how one game like that means there back to full force!

Hawks are a great team playing under their abilityu. Sometimes it can just take 10 minutes of football to have it all coming back, the Collingwood game wasn't the turning point, the last Q of the Roos game was. Remember Hawks are still reigning premiering premiers with most of their team intact. It is stilla tough battle to make the 8 but they have the team with the hunger back.
