Just thought I'd bring this up after the tour the All Blacks have had. They just went to France - the 2nd ranked team in the world - and beat them 47-3 AWAY and then 23-11 - the week before france they smacked England 41-20 and yesterday wales 45-10.
They handed all 3 teams the biggest home defeats in their history which is pretty incredible!! All the while they rotate their players each week and actually beat France 47-3 with a mostly 2nd string line up. This year they've also beaten Aussie 3 out of 3 and smashed the boks by 40 pts in South Africa before losing 21-20 in a game that didn't matter. Their record this year is 11-1 to go with last years 12-1
IMO the current AB's would have to rank up there with the aussie cricket team as the best international sports team in the world. No one dominates any other sport currently like they do except for the Oz cricketers. They were nominated for the Laureus team of the yr at the world sports awards but lost to Ferrari last year - a bunch of mechanics
No soccer team dominates cos of the strength worldwide and the aussie league team hasn't been as dominant recently. Am I missing some other teams out??
