Hey guys, dont know if anyone else is a huge sopranos fan like myself, but after 6 glorious seasons the final sopranos episode aired last night in the US, and i finished watching the finale just then.

Its a very weird finale, pretty anti-climactic with all the events that have led up to this episode (ie the impending gang war with Phil Leotardo's family). I wont go into details about how it all ends, suffice to say it ends on a very odd note...it definitely doesnt tie everything up in a neat little package.

id love to chat about it if anyone else has watched it yet...
 
Unfortunately this was the one show that I always wanted to get into but never got around to doing so. I started watching it around season 3 or 4 but never really followed it to well. I feel a Sopranos marathon coming on..
 
Big controversy in the US surrounding the ending, according to reports on the news tonight.
Without giving too much away most fans weren't happy with the way it ended.:mad:

come on, the final episode of one of the most brilliant TV shows ever created, or watching the spurs continue their inevitable sweep of the lacklustre cavs...no contest!

carn, isnt ANYONE else a fan? no one at work has watched it either...annoying :mad:

T, gotta watch it from the start mate. seasons 1-4 were absolute gold...started slipping in season 5, and 6 was ok but not great. the finale was one of those "lets leave it open ended and let the audience decides what happens next" kind of endings, some fans thought it was brilliance, some fans thought it was a total cop out.
