Don't know if you guys already do this, but thought i would share it because it makes wading through the torrent of turds in eBay a little better.
First of all, when you put the negative sign in front of a word in your search, the results will exclude any listing with that word in the title.
So if you search for "lebron james auto -jersey" it will only show non jersey auto's in your results.
Or probably the best use for this is when put in "-non -no -not" in the search and it will automatically exclude any search result with the words non, not and no in the title.
What this does is get rid of those annoying listings with words in it that have nothing to do with the actual listing like "08/09 lebron james upper deck base non auto not jordan kobe".
Another personal favorite is when you search for auto's, put in stuff like -photo -print -poster -ball -box -pack and it gets rid of all the signed photos prints etc.
The second tip is when you put in more than one word in a closed bracket and separated by a comma, it will search for both those words separately and combine them in the one result.
So for example if you search for "auto (lebron james, kobe bryant, michael jordan)" it will search for all the separate auto listings for those three players. That way you can include all your PC players in the one search instead of doing three to four searches).
Or another example is if you do something like "12/13 kevin durant certified (gold, green, black) which will show all the gold green and black certified of KD.
The best thing is that you can combine the two and have a really accurate and time saving search.
One that i use and have in my saved searches is:
"Auto (kevin love, lebron james) -jersey -photo -print -poster -floor -vip -convention -friday -pack -box -floorboard -non -no -not"
This essentially will only find auto and patch auto's for those two players while getting get rid of alot of crap i dont want.
Like i said, not sure if you guys are doing this but it saves a HEAP of time.
If you guys have any other tips post them here!
