This is the best news for a long time!!!!! I saw them at the Hi-Fi Bar in Melb about 4 years ago....they are absolutely brilliant!! They rock so hard...they get the crowd going and you leave the venue with your hearing!!!!!
I missed their Luna Park (Melb) show when they brought in the New year 2 years ago (while Jack was in NZ shooting King Kong) so I'm definately going to this one!!! And these concerts should be right after the Tenacious D movie comes out at Christmas time!!!!!! AWESOME!!!!!

Just got my D tickets for the Melbourne show (nice Birthday present!!)...anyone else going???
For some reason I thought they were going on sale tomorrow....also I remember paying a lot less than $72 a ticket for the show 4 years ago (when nobody really knew who they were!!!)

Not bad...but not fantastic. The song "Beelzeboss" with Dave Grohl as the Devil is a classic. The whole album will have more relevance once you see the movie in late Jan/early Feb.
Only 2 weeks until the Melbourne concert...can't wait!!!

Seen the flick (in L.A.)....not a bad one for a few laughs! Lots of crazy Ten. D action, and they had the perfect opportunity to play my favorite damn song "Tribute"....but they didn't!!! I was outraged, but still entertained. One and a half thumbs up.

Just got back from the concert...it was awesome!!!!
First part was just the 2 of them...then they went to "Hell" and picked up 3 members for a full rock band...the Anti-christ, Colonel Sanders and Charlie Chaplin....the band rocked so hard!!!!
The only problem was Festival Hall has no A/C....the place was like a sauna....or like Jack said like they "really were in Hell"!!
