Tomorrow in hobby shops across North America and in online group breaks across the web, football collectors will begin making their “Selections.” For any number of reasons, Friday’s release of Panini America’s 2017 Select Football carries with it a weighty helping of healthy excitement. It’s the multicolor captivation of the Prizm parallels . . . it’s the tiered base set . . . it’s the Rookie Patch Autographs . . . it’s the XRC Redemption program. Indeed, all of these things and more have Select collectors on the edge of their seats.
As you saw earlier this week in the revealing Quality Control Gallery, there’s a lot to like. On average, each hobby box of 2017 Select Football will deliver two autographs, one memorabilia card and 14 Prizm parallels (including five numbered Prizms).
