If new-product releases are among the many things you’re thankful for this week (and depending on your sport and product of choice, they very well could be), then Panini America has a collecting feast planned for your Thanksgiving break. Tomorrow, both 2018-19 Prizm Basketball and 2018 Playoff Football go live. On Friday, 2018 Immaculate Football arrives. And then, to coincide with Cyber Monday festivities, 2018 Rookies & Stars Football arrives. But for the purposes of this particular post, we’re focusing on 2018 Playoff Football.
The venerable Panini America brand launches its limited hobby run tomorrow with hobby boxes (eight cards per pack, 12 packs per box) that deliver, on average, two autographs and two memorabilia cards. But aside from those deliverables, there are also some attractive “sleeper” inserts that could steal more than their fair share of thunder, most notably the Thunder & Lightning chase.
