and here it is folks, starting Monday, Tasmania looks to unravel NSW like it did a week ago to win the Pura Cup for the first time.....

Ben hilfenhaus to lead the bowling charge and I am so glad he isn't at the world cup now!!

and Luke Butterworth gets his maiden hundred in the Pura CUp Final and Tassie is playing themselves into an unloseable position... unless Jaques has an innings I'd wanna forget LETS GO TASSIE!!!!!!!!
 
can't believe I missed this thread! I have been following the game on baggygreen.... some of the younger guys in the Tassie team used to go to school with me and we played on the same cricket team. Won't mention any names but one used to coach my high school basketball team :) I whooped his ass though haha

I'm sure we won our ODI in 2005 I think. Oh I can't remember... lol I don't care... this is waaaaaaaaay better!!!!!!!!
 
Good luck Tas. Generally the final has been NSW, Qld or Vic as the favourites (as they've been the powerhouses of the cup), whereas Tas has generally been thought of as an easybeat team.

Would be BIG for Tas to win it.

We led from the front and finished where we belonged... OH WE're FROM TIGERLAAAAAAAAAAAND! (Tassie theme similar to richmonds LMAO)
 
congrats to tas. had it wrapped up in no time. i wonder what they sing in the part of the tigers song where it goes "yellow and black"?
