Sydney Thunder Fan Day Pick Ups

I attended the Sydney Thunder Fan day at Blacktown today. It was a great opportunity to have a chat to all the team & of course get some cards signed.

It was the first time they players had seen the BBL cards & they were very impressed, several asked me where I had got them from. Chris Rogers wanted to know where his card was & Dirk Nannes was not happy he was listed at LHB (left hand bat) when he bats right handed.Most of them had a read of the back of the cards & seemed quite interested in them.

Also no surpises to know most of the photos were photo shopped with previous teams shirts / jerseys replaced with Sydney Thunder kit. Dirk Nannes pointed it out straight away.

Unfortunatelly Martin Guptill is back in NZ, Michael Clarke is in Hobart, Matt Prior is in India & Shahid Afridi is not coming at all so missing a few to complete the set, but i did land the big fish in CHRIS GAYLE......

Anyway below is the results, One set I am keeping for my collection, rest are for trade for other BBL cards or anything on my want list thread. The Pakistan cards are signed by Azar Mahmood. Looking to trade the Gayle cards for other internationals in the BBL set.

Thanks guys, attended the Thunder v Renegades game last night and picked up a heap of renegades as well including Aaron Finch, Tom Cooper, Nathan Rimmington, Ben Rohrer and MURALI!
