suggestion: Live auctions

Just an idea, maybe we can have a dedicated time/night or even forum for holding our own live auctions. Members who want to sell cards quickly without the hassel and wait an fees of ebay can do it here.

haha sounds good, but look at ebay even with rules and guidelines, people still try and cheat around them ... not saying folks here would... but eh... just doesn't seem feasible lol

if people set up their "for sale" pages a bit better, with prices of what they want etc, then it would be an easy way to get a quick sale.

i can just see a situation where someone accuses someone else of shilling and yada yada, ya know? by all means we should probably try it out, see how she goes though.

it is a interesting idea, but i think JZA makes a good point about shilling, maybe have a trial period.

Thought about this before and it can be done at any time I reckon. Put a card up starting at .99c, then say "bid away, the auction will end at 12pm AEST 2 days from now". Can't see a problem with that it everyone goes the way an auction should go and not try to find loopholes or anything?

it does sound like a good idea to me with the sellers saving on fees hell we wouldn't need ebay anymore well not quite but interesting idea

Sorry guys, this has been discussed before. Ozcards is for buying, selling or trading. If you want to put a card up for auction, use Ebay. Simple as that.

i am not very keen to pay ebay for everything...

but at least, we should have about 20 or more feedback to bid..
which my idea is already making me not to participate lol, how about 15?

i really like the idea of that...
