GRRR!

I dont sell on ebay very much, and now i know why...

I sold off some of my AFL cards i had lying around, and this one guy bought 5 cards and it stated at the bottom of the auction, this

Please add $.50c for each additional item up to 6 ITEMS

So anyway, he does the check out immediately after winning the auction and in the my ebay thing it shows up as total payment of $34 which would have been $2.50 postage x 5 and i was thinking i was going to have to send him arefund...found his email saying he was sending payment, and he has written

Payment on its way i have paid for 1 lot of postage ($2.50 making a totol of $24.34)regards sporterafl

IDIOT!!

Why dont people wait for an invoice? or click on the please send me total amount link? MORON!....Ive sent him an email telling him im not sending till i get the other $2, i know its only $2 but hes a MORON and GRRRR....

END RANT

OMG what a douche bag... and to think I was telling you to give him a refund.... now he deserves a roasting.... sheeesh

he just responded with this

I have lodged another $2 into your a/c I always pay straight away so there will be no next time sporterafl

...and Tara keeps asking me why i hate people...^^^ there's your answer people...Because he CANT READ an auction he gives ME attitude...LOSER!!!

I like to pay straight away, but I usually have postage confirmed before I do. Either from a PM or what he mentions in the auction. But I always read carefully :)
Mark.

Frustrating isn't it but what can you do ?!?

but

You should be able to send 5 cards for $2.50 easily shouldn't you ?

The best way to avoid this is to incorporate the cost in the eBay postage calculator rather than in your description and then the 50c per card is added automaticly :)

i know hat you are on about, i don't accept paypal from australian buyers yet 5 aussies have just paid by paypal??? from my last lot of auctions

As a seller, you I believe you have the option of refusing to accept payment.

Like Richo said, you are able to set up postage to reflect a cheaper price for 2nd and multiple lots won, and then when they go to pay for it, the correct price is usually there.

I hope he doesnt taint your feedback with a neutral or worst a neg....

I got this ebayer asking me last month about a skybox autographics 04-05 card that I have listed, He ask me why I listed it as an autographics while he can't see the auto. I had the front and back pics on the auction to show the limited number but this ebayer was really upset about my listing. :(

LOL Richo, and for your suggestion about using the postage calculator i will try to figure that out im new to selling...can u do that with the Turbo Lister?

Not sure mate, I don't use Turbo Lister, I am old school and like manually doing it :) Don't ask me why I just prefer it
