My point is though, I don't see why people go on about Inglis all the time when both teams are just as guilty as each other having players that you could say should be ineligible to play for the side that they do.

Because the Inglis case is soooo blatant. Everyone and his dog knows where Inglis is from. Players and administrators should not be able pick where they play.
With Soward would be good. Atleast Carney would know his role. What was with our first few kicks????? Rubbish kicks by Ennis, Hayne and Pearce i think.....Soward should have done ALL the kicking. Especially under so much pressure.
Ease up, Pearce was brilliant in games 1 and 2, one bad game in game 3 and everyone is getting the chopping block out talking about who will be there next year. Guys this has been NSW problem for the last 6 years!!!!! He showed in game 1 and 2 he is a origin halfback. Stick with Soward and Pearce.
Hopefully next year a few of our forwards will push Gallen out of the way and actually do some work themselves.
I've never seen Pearce do anything particularly great in origin, and in the biggest pressure game he totally crumbled.
This best halfback in the world talk was complete nonsense, there's plenty better than him. Unfortunately for the Blues they're all Kiwis and Queenslanders!
Best halfback in the world - No. Best halfback option for NSW - Yes. He had a great games 1 and 2 and he is all over Wallace and Mullen and who ever else you want to name.
If Ben Creagh is ever picked for the blues again Im giving rugby league away and following water polo. He has continually prooven he doesnt have the tough stuff. He is not made for origin. Good club footballer, but he has no business being on an origin football field. Yet they keep on picking him.
I'm hoping Bennett can do with Mullen at Knights what he has done with Soward at Saints. Simplify his game and give him the confidence to back himself. Say what you want about Mullen but he has the best kicking game of an NSW halfback in the comp. Just needs to tidy up other areas of his game.
Ricky should have stuck with his first instincts on Hayne. Went missing last night.
Mullen has the best long range kicking game ... Close range they aren't so good. He can't get a repeat set off a grubber for the life of him, and I dont think we've scored a try off one of his bombs all year.
I'd like Bennett to cut his losses and focus on Stig and Roberts, but it will never happen. Hopefully Mullen can lift his game. He's been in first grade seven years now though, and no sign yet ...
