The difference was Scott and Civoniceva, NSW only had Gallen and he had no support up front, especially early on. The Qld props led from the front, and went all game, Gallen did what he could but NSW need some hard front rowers next time.
Way too many errors by NSW, kicking out on the full, drop ball, minichello's mistake and a very poor kicking game. Once Ennis went off, Gidley did some really silly things and Pearce and Soward struggled but with soo many sets in defense, NSW were doomed. Great comeback from NSW but just not enough. Gallen is a machine 50 tackles and 20 hit ups - he is a freak.
From a NSW point of view, I think Gallen, Lewis, Bird were the standouts of this series. Gasnier i reckon would be lucky to have his place in the team next year.
Mini and Pearce brought there Roosters form into the game and Soward should be charged the price of admission as he was clearly a spectator tonight.
Let Gallen pick the team he wants next year. He is the only one besides Lewis who knows what origin is about. I thought Uate played well but could be biased.
Minichello was woeful, Pearce not much better.
Congrats to Lockyer and QLD.
I also now have a new most hated player, it is no longer Steve Matai but now Sam "third man in" Thaiday.
I agree with Lewis. He made me really like him. I think Gallens first pick would be Bird. Uate would be my pick of the backs. Hoppa was outstanding in his 1 game though

I think NSW really missed Ennis and Paul G is a machine, that bloke just never stops. You have to wonder where NSW have to go now in order to produce for next year, they have to win next year.............. one of the previous comments about Sam T having anger issues is a real concern, its one thing to have passion and to stick up for your mates but being known as the 3rd man in all the time is not good.
R.Stuart is a Hyprocrite, he says one thing 1 day and another the next day, for a person who said he was going to stick with the same players and players in their rightful positions, he sure did that....
NSW problem is they want a quick fix aint going to happen....,
