I'm so excited, should be receiving my Case of STAR WARS GALACTIC FILES next week

I'm not sure about the collation, however i'm hoping i should have some Extra Base sets and/or subsets

I will update this thread with breaks - cards for sale/etc, if anyone is interested in any Base sets/subsets, let me know (no pricing at this stage, nor can i promise quantity, depends on the break, stay tuned

Cheers, looking forward to it, i should try do a Video of the box breaks & share, i'll see how i go for time & whether i can manage the webcam/etc, never tried before

Good luck. Since I have no interest in the autos or parallels and really narrow sketch interests (vehicles / scenes from the original trilogy), I did not get any of this. However, it looks like a generally good value product for those with broader interests. I've also just picked up a mini master (base, base variants, chase) and am picking up the occasional sketch.

Looking forward to the break, i'm like a big kid, sitting down with my 12yr + 7yr, they love it also, looking for the hits !!, trying to out do each other, strange thing, they get the hits not me

How many boxes per case? How much for a case?

There are 12 boxes to a case. last I looked, a case was over $1000 plus shipping (and they are heavy). Also, just to let you know, you need 2 boxes plus good collation to get a base set. However, there are parallels, one sketch per box (of varying quality) and either an auto or a manufactured patch per box.

Pretty much all the card sets are rectangular. There's a couple of Star Wars card sets released each year.

Well, finally my 2 cases arrived, bit of a mix up with shipping, nevertheless all delivered

Wow, big set, 350 base cards + inserts + patches + autos + parallels + sketches, the cards look & feel great
The cards seem to be a slightly heavier stock than recent SWG issues

The kids & i had fun, i did start out & try video, however being a novice, i thought it would take too long & folks viewing the vids would get frustrated, sorry no vids, however the breaks as follows

you must have been pleased to see the Hammill auto. I think this is a great set for broad Star Wars collectors, reasonable odds on the high end autos, the patches are interesting and the sketches are generally reasonable with some great ones. I pulled out because almost all the sketches are head shots / character portraits and I don't collect the other stuff. But it's a great break for you.

Hamill Auto - Nice!

Actually a very good looking set.... Love the auto's and to be honest Sketch cards have never really interested me but these ones are pretty damn good with the way they've set out the artist auto on the back too

Love the Logan and Hamill autos! The Ackbar and Thrawn sketches are great too!!
