Finals are here baby and the spurs are back at the big dance. Lets hear some thoughts on the series, im hoping the spurs depth off offense will get them over the line and the heats current lack of offense stays that way!!
I think the series is the Heat's to lose. Meaning that if both teams play like they have this season, Heat will win in 6. If they both play like they did last series, Spurs in 5
Can honestly go either way!
For me, I have never felt this anxious/nervous about a game before! I was a die hard D Rob fan as a kid, from 1992-1996 and then tuned out, because of other things in life, then picked up again in 2008, do I missed all of the Spurs' success. It would be the most amazing thing for me to see the Spurs win this year, considering I have watched every minute of every game they played this year. I think it is the last legitimate shot they will have with Tim and Manu possibly retiring if they win one more???

Sure! I got no choice but to work but I've told my self if they to to game 7 I'm taking the day off! Will have to be honest withthe boss though, they know I'm a massive miami fan so 'calling in sick' wont fly.
I'll be wearing my d-wade jersey under my work shirt to tomorrow!!
I think heats got this in 6, but I love all the drama a game 7 brings so I won't be upset if it comes to that!
I don't know how the players would cope, especially spurs sitting for 9 days but I can't sleep. The good wife says I've been babbling random shit in my sleep at the minute. Nba finals marathon on fox 8 at the minute.
In order for Miami to beat this Spurs team, they are going to need to have full contributions from the Big Three and not just the Big One. Not only that, they will need some solid play from the reserves. Tony has been playing phenomenal and there's nothing to suggest that Chalmers is going to be able to do anything to slow him down. If Heat put LeBron on Tony, he still runs the pick and roll to perfection and will find a big man for a high percentage shot. The Spurs are deep, we've seen Tony and Manu with injuries throughout the regular season, and they continued to win games because Pop has a system, and it works and the players trust the system. Miami without the constant threat of a healthy Wade or Bosh are not dynamic enough to beat the Spurs over a series. If for some reason, Wade has been playing possum and has some cortisone injections or whatever he had in G7, where he was all OVER the court, dunking, making layups, crashing the board, jumping into passing lanes, THEN the Heat can at least be competitive. But I just don't see it. He had some rest after the Bucks and Bulls series and it made no difference to his knees. After a brutal and long 7 game series with Indiana, he's bound to be worse. Spurs will have fresh legs, they are healthy, and Pop has had time to dissect what made Miami struggle in the last series. Logically, I just have to think that Spurs will win in 6, maybe 7.
Either team in 7! would be just amazing to watch it all come down to the last chance for the title, winner takes all. Also don't mind if lebron goes back to back or if timmy d gets 5 from 5. Can't wait
