Hi all,

As some of you may know, I have been designing an application in the form of an electronic catalogue for my cards.

This application has now been made suitable for other collectors, and not just suitable for my likings.

I have compiled a Trial Version of this Application, and would like to offer it to our Members here for FREE. =D>

Image hosting, free photo sharing & video sharing at Photobucket

Whilst the Trial Version is free, it does have some restrictions to it's functions.
Users are restricted to 3 Collections
Users are restricted to 5 Cards per Collection

If you are interested in trialing this Software, please let me know via PM, PLEASE DO NOT REPLY TO THIS MESSAGE ASKING TO TRIAL IT.....

Important Information and requirements:
.Email will contain a 1.1MB ZIPPED EXECUTABLE. Will need to allow your AntiVirus to allow the Email through it's Firewall.
·Windows XP (I have not tested on anything else, if you would like to try it, just ask)
·128 Mb RAM
·At least 3Mb Free Disk Space (using the option to store Card Scans will use up more Disk Space)
·Screen Resolution 1024x768 (800x600 may JUST fit, but the screen borders are not displayed in full).

I would think it would be because at some stage he'd like to make some money for the many hours of work he's putting into it... but that's just a guess

Can the Admin guys tell me if we have a policy or somethng here that prevents members advertising on here?

I am a member on another website, and received a rather rude PM from an Admin there.

Just wanted to make sure I wasnt upsetting anyone by posting this?

Seems there's not much interest for such a piece of Software anyways. I've only had 2 responses.

Please advise and I'll remove my post.

the biggest problem i find with things like this - even my little old excelspreadsheet is the inability to link to beckett to update prices/lists. I think you've already commented on this. Something else to think about might be to add an ability to import full list say from an excel copy of a beckett list, so you can create a wantlist of cards.

I like the way you've got a price paid column.

I'm certainly interested in software like this

Thanks Andy,

Appreciate the feedback.

I have thought about the Wantlist, and the more I thought about it, and the more I looked into it, I just found myself going back to a Spreadsheet I have running at the moment.

Althought having the ability to update the BVs for cards would be the greatest, it's not all that easy. :)

and that's why beckett should pay you millions and give you access to their databases so you could do it.....
