Just adding, On the umpiring, the first half was shocking if you were a west coast fan but the second hal was shocking for a hawthorn fan, so it got evened out. That interchange infringe ment was stupid. My points (i like makig points)
- Some stupid yellow box means nothing, so long as the playing coming on doesnt have an impact on the play whilst the other player is still on the ground.
- The ball was out of play at the time, so no influence could be made.
- He was 50m away from where the throw in was.
- The infringment was only because selwood was 3m keen
Sorry im not making points on the hawthorn incidents but i did not take full notice of those
The over running of the mark by kennedy resulting in a 50m penalty.
- The ball was kick no more than 8m, barely half of whats required.
- Kennedy stepped about 1m past the mark
- The ump could have just asked Josh to take 2 steps back? Happens all the time
UMPIRES ARE NOT THERE TO DICTATE THE GAME, BUT OVERSEE THAT ITS PLAYED FAIRLY!
lol. was a great game.
I can't belive the ignorance of the Victorian "experts". All tipping Hawthorn. West Coast were a winner for sure.
My argument -
- WCE lost to Hawthorn by 18 points earlier this season at launceston. And for periods in the 2nd and 3rd, we had the lead
- Take a look at some of our wins and results in general this year. 50+ Port Adeliade, 34+ Bulldogs, -5 v Sydeny (away), -9 v Brisbane (away), -22 v Geelong. We can be a great side
- Some of those closer games going the other way and we could be 7 and 6.
- Hawthorn are not having a good season, and that earlier wni in the year is good proof WC were a better chance.
Nicky boy played a below standard first half but those three goals were brilliant. The frist one was the best, the next one was a bit opotunistic but the last one was great skill once again.
