Now i know with some of my posts you may get the idea that i am negative towards Select and for the most part this is true but i must say, This years Champions is an awesome looking release and probably the most impressive looking NRL set i have ever seen.
I think that a case needs a 1:6 Box sig or atleast 1 sig a case but apart from that they are spot on.
I have very high hopes for Series 2 and i cant wait.



Ps- Dont fuck me out of a Gallen case card. A numbered out of 50 Sig version perhaps.

I agree. I have only been back collecting since 2010 but this series is great so much so that I am collecting all insert sets and I have not done this before!

A continuation of the star signature series would have been great with the clubs who missed out in 2011 such as the Raiders, Sharks and Storm represented. Even an instant win card like the AFL series had would have been okay, an insert set for the players who play 80 minutes or our best playmakers / goalkickers could have been represented in this set.

Does anyone have any inside drum on what we are looking at for series 2?

It's a shame they didn't have any sigs ... but the base set in particular looks amazing - way better than any Select base set I can remember from the last five years!

The card ideas are better than any previous ones probably ever, as well.

never heard him saying anything positive about a champions release haha

but yeah gallen case card or else....
