Some pretty rare cricket chase cards in Abacus Auctions finished last Friday 28 March

Hey all

I guess some of you followed the Abacus cricket card auctions that finished last Friday ..... ?

Some of the lots -

1994 Signature series of 6
1996 Decider Waugh signature lot of 5
1997 Signature series of 6 - all #0093
Warne Signature Hatrick card # 118
AB Master Signature card #49/50
Bradman set of 4 in folder 0048/500 $3,400 + 30%
Lillee / Marsh Signature Redemption set # 39/50 + Impact card and Specialists and Freshmen cards all #'d #39

Plus a few lots of albums with 375 Lara # card, lots of Warne #éd Hatrick cards, Heritage sets of 60, Bradman Sample sets etc ...

Plus lots of retro cricket cards - some went for pretty big $$ but I don't follow those.

Was interesting to watch the auctions live on their website - first time for me.

Warne went for $1700.

What did the Caught Marsh Bowled Lillee go far?

This one......along with some other cards our of the release went for $1300

Where are the prices they sold for? Some amazing cards in there if i had've known i would've bid for a few of them. ah well, next time.

that was $1,300 plus 20% commission plus 10% GST - so buyer would pay a total of about $1,700

if it was only $1,300 I would have bought it !

AB card $1,900 plus 30% means buyer pays about $2,470
