Had some time free so I thought I'd post up some more of my comc pick ups. This one is dedicate to base rookies and prizms, so enjoy.
Towns Excalibur - Nice looking base card from Towns rookie season.
Russell Clear Vision - Still think this is a great looking set and undervalued.
Dunn Hoops - I like what i've seen of Dunn so far this season.
Dunn Donruss - Another nice looking Dunn.
Ingram Donruss - Haven't seen a look of Ingram this year but thought I'd pick up a couple of his base cards on the cheap.
Brown Donruss - I know there was a bit of buzz on this guy to start the season but looks like it may have cooled off?
Brown Absolute /999 - I mentioned in my last mailday I like this design and possibly thinking about doing the set chase, although the Simmons appear to be a bit pricey at the moment.
Lavine Prizm - I have a couple of nice Lavine RCs but surprisingly didn't have a copy of his base prizm. Hopefully I will get a silver in the future.
Holmes Prizm Flash Prizms - I mentioned previously I'm a fan of Holmes game, so thought I'd land some prizm's since they got for dirt cheap.
Holmes Prizm Light Blue Prizm /199 - nice coloured parallel on this once.
Murray Prizm - Another rookie I haven't seen a lot off. I actually have tickets to see the Nuggets play next month when I head to Denver so thought I'd pick up his 'best' base rc.
Dunn Prizm - More Dunn's, they are only getting nicer!
Ingram Prizm - Another card I'd like the silver version of.
Felder Prizm Silver - A dude I know little about, but got this in a cheap prizm lot. Cool looking dunk shot for a rookie photo shoot, as normally its just the player holding the ball or dribbling.
Bentil Prizm Silver - Another dude I don't know anything about, probably cause I havent watched the celts much this year.
Gbinije Prizm Green - The green prizms look nice this year.
Bembry Prizm Green - Odd photo choice on this one.
Prince Prizm Purple /75 - Only purple prizm RC I've got so far this year.
Luwawu-Carbarrot Prizm Silver - I've watched a few sixers games this year and while TLC is still raw, he shows some skill and athleticism.
Dunn Prizm Silver - Really happy to have this card. There must be a bit of hype for the upcoming Wolves as these have gone up in price.
Lebron 13-14 Prizm Silver - Trying for all the base Lebron prizms from each year of prizms release and this is one of the nicer designs imo.
Lebron 16-17 Prizm Silver - The latest of the Lebron prizms, wish they would of used more of a action shot on this.
Thanks again for stopping by. I still have some Noir jumbo patch cards to post up as well as my Aminu additions.
I always thought Brown a bit too high given his lack of an outside shot but is an absolute thoroughbred athlete.
Bentil is a combo forward with a good ability to shoot and drive which makes him a nice weapon in the pick n roll & pick n pop scenarios, average athlete who may have trouble finishing against NBA bigs. Big wingspan but a below average defender and rebounder but has the tools to improve. Some questions his basketball IQ because he doesn't seem to have a good feel for the game and is prone to taking some pretty ordinary shots. Definitely drafted for his upside after a HUGE improvement in his sophomore year (wasn't on NBA radars before that).
Felder is an absolute peoples' champion. 5'9' and out of a second rate college program, he is the definition of a pocket rocket, can push the tempo, is a real ball thief, can knock down shots and get into the paint with ease. Great athlete and built like a bullet. Always gives 110%. Capabe of finishing above the rim so more Nate Robinson than Muggsy Bogues in that respect but can run the show very capably. Not great on the defensive end given his size and tends to rack up fouls which is what always limited his college recruiting and draft stock.
Have to research these guys for my fantasy keeper league in case you were wondering - and yes, it's a deeeeeeeep league!
Lovely mailday! Jaylen Brown has been starting lately, with Avery Bradley out and has really impressed. Phenomenal athlete as Skip said, and his defense and shooting is improving. Ben Bentil was drafted by the C's, but cut before the season started. Have a feeling he signed with the Pacers but is now playing in China?
