Smiley problem?

Something strange just happened in a thread I posted in...... I tried to show the grinning smiley by using the code '', but the forum kept converting my upper-case D to a lowercase one & hence making my smiley not come out properly.... I tried editing the post but it kept making it lowercase.

Note.. I have turned smilies off for this post..

Ok..... now the forum just told me this when I tried to post..

"You do not have permission to create tags. You may only use existing tags."

I didn't even add any tags but it had these added on the error page, which I have now removed..

No idea mate. Never seen it nor can I reproduce it. What browser version are you using?

lol..... let me test here:

Using FF 3.5.6...... though I imagine that wouldn't matter in this case as it would be the server that is making it lowercase.

Well there ya go lol....... working here. Dunno what was up before.... maybe the forum just decided I wasn't allowed to use a smiley face in that specific post....

Well there you go. The server is now being choosey as to when and where it allows smileys. I didn't think the Artificial Intelligence plugin would take hold so quickly. Better get your tin hats out - it's going to take over the world!!!
