IMO that's rubbish. You're watching the dunk contest for the dunks not the passes. Put him in the Skills comp if you really want.

I dont know, I think the idea has merit, but go beyond flavor of the month Jeremy Lin. Imagine barrack Obama coming out and throwing a lob then waving to the crowd. Or I don't know much about nfl, but say you get Tim tebow or one of the great Qbs throwing a football style lob from halfcourt. The fans would eat it up.

Isn't the dunk contest more for younger players now? Didn't they say something like that last year?

Either way, the dunk contest isn't about star power it's about entertainment and if these guys can dunk then I'm happy.
