Sketch card - Slide show - need help - how to rip audio files from DVD to PC ?

Need some help please - computers & tech , not my strong point

I have created a video file (Windows Media Audio) - slide show of my Star Wars Sketch cards - now i would like to add some Star Wars theme music
I have googled a little, as i do (i presume i need to download software to Rip Audio file ?? this sounds easy enough ??? maybe for some of you...

I'm using Windows 7 , what free software do you recommend ?

If anyone can assist, that would be great, thanks
