Simpsons under threat of cancellation

Funny you just posted this cause I laughed my ass off last night at the Homer as choreographer episode

LeBron: "Homer, this is LeBron James. The fans love my dunks, but they hate my dancing"

If the show generates "billions" of dollars through syndication they have to find out a way to get paid more (if not already) through that somehow. $8mil per season is massive.
The show should end how the writers want I think eventually and go out in style rather than being cancelled!

Honestly the older episodes are the best and funniest ones, the new ones still have funny moments - but are not as good. With that being said, i would like the show to stay around for a long time yet, it is a good program and it has been running for years now. Hopefully the voice actors can arrange something so the show can stay afloat

The new ones aren't as good because shows like Family Guy and others have come along, in the path of the Simpsons, but push the boundaries of what is allowed on TV and all the other hot topics so it makes The Simpsons seem old and outdated and not as funny, which in some ways is true. I'll never forget it though as the pioneer and necessary TV viewing when I was in high school lol.

/\/\ yeah, season 23 only just started?! saw the 2nd episode a couple of days ago.
its still funnier than any of the mcfarlane cr@p. family guy lost it a few years back and cleveland show was never that good. american dad is the pick of the bunch and its not that great either.
people think the simpsons have gone downhill, which is true, but id really hate to see what kind of garbage family guy churns out after 23 years. it didnt have enough jokes/stories to last 6...
