hey, just had a few questions on signed cards. i have 2010 parramatta eels cards i want to get signed just the base cards and i was wondering what kind of pens/markers are good to use? like ones that wont rub off and ones that are a good size, so it doesnt look so messy. what do you guys normally use? and any tips on how to get the cards signed would be great :D thanks

Sharpies mate. Extra fine or fine point. Woolies has them.

Make sure you clean off the UV coating with an eraser or tissue before you go get it signed though.

As to how? No idea :) I would say an Eels/Blues/Australia fan day would be the best bet depending on who you want.

Mark.

Some of the clubs do allow card signing.
Go to the clubs website find an address and send them a letter.
I find actually writing to them to be better than email.

what do you mean uv coating? the shiny stuff on the card? how will i know if its off, do i just rub it off with tissue until its gone?

I use Sharpies mate. Also the best way I get them are open training sessions, fan days, or send it to through the mail. My preference for Cowboys would be get them signed at the members fan day. So if you are a member I recommend that. Also why write in center? It is annoying:lol:. Cheers.

sharpies r good) we have been using the bullet tip ones this year but so r the yellow artlines 70 :) This years series u shouldn't have to rub the gloss off check out the pics in our storm vs raiders pickups . For the best sigs put the cards on a thin piece of wood ( photo frame backing cut up is good) or solid matting board held om by a bulldog clip ( make it just like a mini clipboard) it makes it easy for the players to sign and your cards wont get bent or mishandled. A fair few players have commmented on how good it is:) and it makes it easy for them to sign.make sure u get clips that don't mark your cards This how we do it and sometime i have 3 cards on one peice of wood ready to go when the players come out because u have to be ready for the players cause some wont sign for many people or they have to leave quickly.
