G'day Ron I spoke to select today & they have said that the Warne showtime redemption was never a signed card. So it must of been signed by him after release of the card.
Yes I think Ron meant that beeing a redemption and such a top end card that there was a reason why it was never signed perhaps they didnt offfer him enough dollars $$$$.. I dont think Rons card is signed eithier( i may be wrong)
Yes it would have been a brilliant card had it been a signature card.
Unfortunately it is unlikely Warne will ever sign again - his fee is simply too high. I have it on good authority he requested $15K from Select to sign for their 2009-10 cricket release and Select refused to pay that much......this is also why there was not one Warne card n the 2009-10 release (insert or common).

that sort of rubbish hurts the hobby for us collectors. i look forward to warne cards everytime theres a new cricket release, and quite often theres no warnes. one of the greatest cricketers this country has seen and they wont put him on a card.
this showtime card is absolutely an unsigned card, if you have one with a sig on it then it was done after the card was redeemed, if you have one of these id be attempting to get the signature off it and return back to original condition. warne and Select have never seemed to get along, Futera must of had a fairly good relationship with him as all the good warne cards are from Futera.
btw. i had a small bid on this one the other day, my max was about $160 so missed it by about $15. would have loved it but there are other cards on my wantlist that are much better value than this one.
