To me it will always be Jordan. He's what inspired every kid to "be like Mike" and WAS Basketball for mine. Whenever I see highlights I still think that he was the pinnacle. It was like the game was invented for him.

I'm gonna go with this guy for a couple of reasons.
All I hear from the kids (at High School and around the basketball club) is about Kobe/Lebron/Durant.
At the moment, Kobe has the rings behind him and is looking like he'll take 3rd overall for scoring which means he's had an incredible career.
Whilst I think Lebron is on his way to at least 5 rings and more Trophies than Kobe, one thing stands out to me about Kobe that I value pretty highly and have ALOT of respect for.

Sure it's never been smooth sailing, but if he retires a Laker that will be an amazing achievement.
