This was mentioned in another thread, so I think it's a good time for a little sequel to show off some of Ozcards members rides. C'Mon new commers! Any mode of transport is accepted here! Post up a pic and tell us a bit about it, mods, was it a bargain? I wanna see this Camira Mr. Valles!:lol:

Here's my daily driver, an '86 Ford Laser TX3, red, because it goes fast of course:D Speedy 1.6L Fuel Injected 4 cylinder (sounds like I'm selling something! lol) Got a nice snapshot just after washing it last weekend. One of the best cars I've owned. Do you like my spotties?:lol:

here is my beast, covered in mud coz its up at the river ;)

1993 Ford Fairmont EB II - 4.0L Fuel Injected 6 cyl...Fully optioned, Cruise Control, Elec Windows & Mirrors, Trip Computer, Climate Control, Pioneer mp3 player and 6 pioneer speakers (not standard :p) - picked it for $7k with only 65,000kms on it!!!

one thing i dont like is the color, but u can judge for yaself on that 1 :p

love the tx3! my mate had 1 and he got his done up. kinda like a mini rocket in those things lol.
 
Alright guys the Camira will come up tomorrow, I'm off to work now then out tonight! I warn you, it'll hurt your eyes! ;)

Gemz: I know what you mean, the little Injected 1.6L hauls in the TX3's, we thought mine was actually factory turbocharged when I first drove it without looking under the bonnet, lol.

JV: I can't wait! lol. I wanna hear about any mods on the Camira too!

yes indeed a sweet ride! btw how big is the rims? is it 19 or 20 coz its pretty big . also did u done any modification to the car like system,interior,etc
 
there 20's... and eventually I will have airbags on it, dont really care to modify the engine at all... I'm going to drive it till it stops and put something else in it
this aint mine but it is a nice photo from the bush fires a couple of years ago in canberra this truck burned down about 5 hundred meters from my house

That Merc is a sweet ride! might need to tub that thing with 20's on bags! 14's will have to do the TX3 for now, lol.

Its a 2001 SAAB 9-3 Turbo
Its a three door 5 speed Manual with alloys and leather interior. Ill try and get a better pic in the next few days.
Ive had it since new and its a sweet car.

Dude it looks shithouse! Not the previous owner but the one before decided it would be a good idea to use wood varnish over the paint job! Now the car looks like a flaky dandruff head! :D

My current car is a 97 Suzuki Baleno which I've had for around 5-6 years. It's been everywhere and I do mean everywhere... a few years back I took it around the coast of mainland Australia! it took 6 months and 19,000kms!
anyway I don't have a digital pic on hand but she's not much to look at anyway!

My first car to me was an absolute beauty. When I was 17 I bought an 85 Mitsubishi Cordia GSR TURBO for $3000 and ended up spending $6000 more on it - all I had and put me in a lot of debt at the time! It was BEAUTIFUL. Ex-pursuit model used by detectives back in the day apparently! 18 months with it and on the way to work one day to when I smash into the side of a silver VOLVO. It was peak hour and dozens of witnesses saw the Volvo driver run the stop sign but I lost my pride and joy at the time. Only got $5500 back from insurance. There is now a round-about at that intersection :(

After that I bought an old Nissan/Datsun Pulsar that was advertised in the Quokka for around 1200, got it for 500 cash :) Serviced it twice and it served me very well for over a year - I even used it for deliverys- at the time I worked for Pizza Hut! in the end I sold it to a mate for $300. Definately the best value car yet!

Suprisingly no, it's quite smooth! Just had the starter motor and alternator fixed so she's all good for awhile! The damn cold whether requires a bit of a warm up in the morning though!
