Continuing to update my photos of cards, so if you have seen these before......... too bad!
Anyway, a little story behind why I started collecting this set. I really was not into the whole gem / gold thing, but thought I really needed to get one to see what they were like and to just have something from the Flawless set. At that time I liked the Team USA sets a little bit to decided to pick one up. Then, looking at what was around, and what had been happening for a little while with Panini, having 5-10 variations of every single card (which was just so annoying!!!), I decided to try slowly going for this set.
These are probably one of the rarest, if not the rarest modern day set going around. They were serially numbered up to 10, and with no variations (except for printing plates, which are a little different themselves) or short print versions of the cards. So there are ONLY 10 copies of each and every one of these cards packed out (whether they have a few more made and not packed out, I am not sure).
Admittedly, there are not autographs or GU Patches on the card, just gold and gems (which I still am not really that interested in), but being that rare made it worth trying to go for the set.
Unfortunately I was not really going all out in chasing the set (for reasons above), I didn't want to put much $$$ up for them, and also because as I said, there were only 10 copies of each card made, I never completed the set. Now I will never complete the set as I am missing 2 big names........ Kobe and Curry. Despite only being 10 copies available, I am not going to throw a boatload of cash just to pick them up to complete the set.
But enjoy. (Sorry more than I pic today, but I thought would be nicer having them all together.)
I really love that flawless usa triple signature, I pretty much love all team usa cards.... as for the Jordan 1of1 most of us mortals only dream of owning a card like that! Your PC truly is spectacular man

Part passion, part love, part collector, part luck, and (dare I say) part investor.
Having come into the hobby in the 90's, but not really selling off too much over time, just held when other things came up or took my interest, has helped make the collection all the more interesting!
some of the last cards I picked up before retiring from collecting.....
I was a bit bummed when I saw the silver piece after all these years considering it has never been opened but can see that it is a very common issue..... when gimmicks don’t actually make sense! Having said that still love the card I am a sucker for anything all star related they had such cool uniforms
