Somewhat inspired by Xvarieties thread on the Blake Griffin pulls, and talking about how its great to keep your own big pulls, where as the trend throughout most of this hobby is to always be trying to break for profit. i thought maybe we could all show off some of our better pulls that we kept!
PLEASE ONLY POST CARDS THAT YOU PERSONALLY PULLED FROM A BOX, AND ARE STILL IN YOUR POSSESSION.
feel free to tell us a bit about the cards if you like or let the pics do the talking!
WOW! This thread makes me feel like a real card whore!
I don't keep anything I pull! lol
The Gervin only stayed because he is a Spurs and it was On Card. The Kobe only stayed because it was pulled from retail packs!
I have pulled Bill Russell on card autos and Oscar Robertson autos that I didn't appreciate at the time, but would give anything to have them back! lol
I have even bought myself another one of the exact Oscar auto I pulled and sold!

In early 2011 I bought a couple of 92-93 NBA boxes from ebay "for old times sake" - after not opening a pack since 1996 - and pulled this:
Today I realize that shiny new car that I'm eyeing off could have been bought outright if I hadn't made that initial (seemingly innocent) nostalgia-driven purchase of Stadium Club
Breaking boxes is the biggest part of the hobby for me (as a degenerate gambler I love the randomness of it all!) and I've pretty much kept everything I've pulled. Just created this folder; lots there with plenty more to add!!!
