I think the most important thing and best thing about this site is it is like a "family" we look out and look after each other. Perfect example have been the wedding present for Kidd05(Ithink) and the presents for Al and Tracy.
If people here are going to be stirring up and baiting each other it is going to detract from the great feeling that has been created. Originally the site was more or less invite only and we knew who was coming and going, it's now starting to grow we don't want this place to degenerate to anything like the Beckett forums
Thats it right there mate "family" looking after eachother.
What you guy's did for us was almost unbelievable. And we are here for anyone thats needs us aswell.
I would not be here now if it wasn't for chad & the rest of you guy's who do care.
I know where my loyalty lies.
I have always tried to help anyone who ask's for a card from me or any advise when needed.Thats what mates do.
And it should not have to be a burden to "help someone or just be nice".
I would like to think that if someone has a problem with me,They can PM me & tell me in a polite manner what the problem is.It can always be worked out in a friendly way.
I am here to make friends not enemy's.
I could go on all day.
But i would rather get some trading done
Q: Should the power structure of Ozcards be changed?
No. I believe that the mods (Graham, Kyle and Chad) have done a great job in enabling Ozcards to continue to grow at the rapid rate that is has, whilst maintining the overall positive spirit that Ozcards is based on.
With the growth of any forum, there is always the opportunity to grow too fast and thus lose control of the positive feeling that this forum was founded on.
Here at Ozcards thankfully this hasn't happened.
Sure there have been a few members that have caused issues, however these have generally been handled well by the mods, and sorted out in a quick and efficient manner.
As for the banning of Justin, I have no comment on this, as I do not know any of the details of what has happened here or outside of Ozcards. It would be unfair and wrong of me to comment on this.
There may be some merit to adding another 1 or 2 moderators (maximum), to expand the ability of the moderators to put a stop to any potential issues before they arise. Dont forget there is also the option to report a post if it is deemed as controvertial or violates the forum rules.
Further to this If there were an option to become a moderator, I would be happy to throw my hat into the ring, but as Graham said at the moment there isnt a need, so it's a mute point.
Going to close the topic now, but in response that is up to Justin. If he wants to email me and tell me that he is going to stop doing what he was doing, then a return would be considered. If he doesn't want to do that, then he doesn't want to be here. His choice what he wants to do. My email is graham@hill33.com
