Short print numbers

I looking at a card numbered 033/100, it's selling for about $20 say.
What would be the same card numbered 001/100 be worth ?
Would you consider it of no greater value ?

I personally don't value the card any higher but some people would. much like cards 99/99. I consider jersey numbered cards a little more valuable because I know others value them more.

Generally for me though, it's just a number. I see "first card made"..well technically it's not necessarily the first card made it's the first card through the little press.
If you think about it, if the numbering is on the back then it's more than likely that the last card in the stack (likely the last made) is actually the first to be numbered in the press.

People pay more for first, last and jersey numbered numbered cards - just the way it is. Then you get the silly ebay 1/1s like draft year, draft position which is a bit of a stretch to say the least. Just look up the completed ebay listings for 1/1s and I'm sure you'll quickly figure out the premium...
