SHORT FILM on Collectors in Basketball Cards

hi guys

I am starting to direct/write/produce my own short films and in the process of writing my first script!!! I am wondering if anyone on here would be interested in starring in a cardboard documentary!!! really looking for 2-3 BIG collectors with amazing card, amazing stories, and amazing collections of specific players or sets.

My main goal is to get the word out there that "collecting cards" or "spending money on cardboard" isn't what some people think, and to show people that it can be a passion and something that some people spend most of their spare time doing. It is something that brings joy and happiness to peoples lives in a way that some could never imagine.

What do you get out of it?

well firstly you get your collection shared with millions!!! Ok maybe not millions but it would be cool to have a short documentary film about your collection!

It will cost you nothing!!! For your time you will be fed, if I need to travel to see you costs will be covered.

this project wont happen over night it is a 12-18 month project, but something I look very forward to giving a crack as my first ever documentary!

Also if anyone has any ideas they would like to put forward feel free, everything will be taken on board

Im a producer/cameraman/editor for Fox Sports, and Ive written/produced/shot/edited/directed doco's on the 36ers too, so I fully grasp the enormity of what you're about to undertake.

I live in Western Australia but I would volunteer for this I have a man cave of kyrie Irving set up in my house?? With over 300 an counting rookie year cards it's fair to say I'm a card nut and proud, the passion for the cards drives my passion for the game.
