Hey guys new forum member here, my name is Cal im in Melbourne I already know gemz and scottsophie and sonny. I collect Nowitzki and T.J Ford. Started collecting about 10 years ago around 95 ish stopped in 97 and have only taken it up again in the last 12 months. :) Good to meet you all.

Like a lot of people here, got hooked in this hobby in the early-mid 90's then stopped when the hobby slowed down before the turn of the century:D Now the hobby's been re-born. Thanks to the Online shpping and Ebay!!!

Yup I was very lucky with T.J I started collecting him about a week before he broke his back. My mate sent me 2 games on dvd of the mavs and they both happened to be against the bucks in a double header, when I saw t.j play I was totally amazed In one game he had 8 assists at quarter time, and even though the doctors said he may never play again I decided to get ALL his stuff ( and luckily I picked up everything so cheap it was a joke) now the collection is worth quite a bit with his unbelievable comeback ( not that I'd ever sell ) but its nice to see someone return from such a horrific injury and play the way he is. Career night the other day 34 pts 11 dimes 6 boards 4 steals and I even think he managed a block :) not bad for a guy who lies on most of his cards sayin hes 6 foot :) hehehe 5'10 if that..... :)
