Just wondering what you all use (well those of us old enough to grow facial hair use ;)) to shave with ?

I've been using a Mach 3 shaver, but recently bought a 4 bladed one - now talk about crap! The thing clogs up continually and running it under the tap doesnt seem to work that well. PLus the fact that it's messy and I seem to end up looking like i've gone 50 rounds with Freddy Kruger if I shave more than once a week.

Been looking at a Braun 8595 electric as an option - just wondering what others use!
 
I use wilkinson sword lady glides. They come in a multi pack and in colours too! Good value at $4 for a pack of 6 ;-)

Great for the legs too :-D
 
yep mach 3 seems to be the go, i used to use an electric philishave but once you use the mach 3 you cant go back to an electric.

good idea justo, ive never thought about getting some shaving blades from ebay, but thats probably a smart thing to do, those things are bloody expensive! :D
 
The Mach 3 is my preference.

I've used them for a while now. I haven't tried the 4 bladed variety yet however the reports from people I know who have tried them havent been favourable.

I'm a Mach 3 guy too, I got the vibrator one. ;) .

Always wondered about electrics tho.

I always seem to feel like I need a shave in the arvo after having one in the morning.... gives me the shits!

I have been using a philishave for 10 yrs and I THINK I know what u mean Mavsman......I think

Need a new one anyway

try being italian and you DO need a shave in the arvo, whether you use a cut throat or electric razor :(... i just gave up in the end and have a "terrorist" style beard happening
 
I'm in the Mach 3 mob, the only type I've ever used, seems to work well for me. I thought electrics were the go for everyday shaving? you know the portables you see guys using at the office in movies, lol. I too have always wondered if they work better G
 
Yeah Mach 3! On a similar note how does everyone shave?

I used to shave before having a shower, but a lovely lady pointed out that if you shave after the shower the steam opens the pores giving you a much closer shave! This is how I go know, I'm used to having the "Craig David" cranking, but when it gets a bit thick I have to use a Braun electric shaver to trim it down before my shower, then after my shower I take to it with a Mach 3. Any other tips out there?
 
Yeah, I'm another Mach 3 man, but I use the TURBO version, it shaves FASTER!!! (OOOOOOOOOOH....) :p hehe And it's the RED version, for extra grunt, we all know red stuff goes faster, right??? :lol:
