So here I am... a year since my last mailday. I cannot believe it has been so long, I remember when the cards were coming in slowly and I had the time to scan them and post them here... but I have been busy all year long, getting married, got a new place etc... also, with the discovery of multiple forums and the mighty checkoutmycards.com, my collection is growing so fast that I just mainly spend time scanning the cards on my desk and putting them away into albums. So here's some stats (thanks to collectorsGalore's thread):
As of 03/06/2010 - 2510 different Shaquille O'Neal cards
As of 16/05/2011 - 2726 different Shaquille O'Neal cards
Anyway, enough talking, here's the highlight (out of the 200+) of the Shaq cards I got over the past year. We will start off with a non-sports release from 1994 Blue Chips:
Blue Chips Movie cards Foil insert F4 (/12500) - I still need F3 to complete the Shaq master set
92 Classic Four Sports Gold - one of his earlier releases, this is from a box set of Gold parallels, I cannot believe it took me 18 years to get one
92 Legends Sports Decade of Legends Masterpiece Platinum 1 of 1 - I am not exactly sure what this card is... it comes with a COA saying it's a one of one so I will take their word for it... it maybe be a bit dodgy but it's a fun item to have nonetheless... if anyone knows anything about this card, please speak out!!
Now we move on to some very cool inserts from the 90s which are a lot more collectible than most of the jersey cards these days.
00-01 E-X Essential Credentials - I cannot remember if I have posted this card but it is a beautiful card that's worth a second viewing
95 Topps Stars Finest Atomic Refractor
96-97 Bowmans Best Best Cuts AtomicRefractor
98-99 Skybox Thunder Noyz Boyz - this card has made a lot of noyz recently, selling extremely well on eBay... it's great to get one for a bargain price!!
Now we move on to some more interesting jersey cards, not your plain old boring ones, but these ones do stand out a bit because they are from the early years of jersey existence...
99-00 Upper Deck Encore Game Jerseys - I still like the look of these early releases
01-02 Topps Pristine Team Topps Captain Oversized - a jumbo size jersey swatch, you can never go wrong with that
02-03 Topps Jersey Edition Road Black - this may seem a bit boring but this is the rarest parallel of the base jersey card (minus the logoman), now I just need the Home Jersey Black..
01-02 Topps Xpectations Bowmans Best FF3 and FF6 - a beautiful background of colours to go with the yellow Lakers jersey, these are my ideal type of jersey cards... this is a funny set, even though it has the Bowman's Best logo, it is actually from the Topps Xpectation set, most eBay sellers will list it under the wrong year and brand.
09-10 Absolute Memorabilia Star Gazing Jumbo Material Jersey Number - I like the Absolute Memorabilia cards in general... I like the look of these giant swatches, not like the stingy small ones from Topps and UD near the end of their licenses
Enough with these plain single colour fabrics, let's bring out the colourful ones...

09-10 Certified 109 Mirror Gold Materials Prime - Panini has been using these multiple jersey pieces as their Prime pieces, they are not exactly patch pieces but they can look good sometimes
04-05 Upper Deck Ultimate Collection Ultimate Game Patch - nice 3 colour patch
04-05 Fleer Showcase Feature Film Patch - this is an interesting card, game film mixed with a patch piece
08-09 SP Rookie Threads Dual Threads Patch - 2 superstars, 2 pieces of 3 coloured patches.. what a card!!
Now we will move on to my Autograph acquisitions...
06-07 Topps Big Game All-Star Rally Relics Autograph - not the best auto you can get, pretty boring stuff in fact... but this is the stardard these days
01-02 Stadium Club Lone Star Signature - large on card auto
02-03 Stadium Club Lone Star Signature - large on card auto
95 Superior Pix 74 Autograph - good old shaq full auto signed with a thick texter... classic!
00-01 Topps Reserve Canvas Autograph - last but definitely not least, we go out on a gigantic Canvas auto of Shaq... it took me a while to figure out how to display this one... in the end, a photo frame did the trick!!
