Well guys I set out on this task back in...was it June or July? after I randomly decided stumbled upon a JR Smith/Lebron James on eBay and decided I wanted it. I then also rather randomly picked up the Magic Johnson/Larry Hughes and then I decided I was in a set chase!
The first 9 odd came easy, and then I caught a lucky break
on the big 1, MJ/LJ, and put alot of faith (and money) in a seller before finally it was here! Now I thought, I'll simply easily find the cheapest of the set, Michael Redd/Tayshaun Prince #/22 and I'm done!...alas...
The Redd/Prince 1 had been sought out by a collector that had the set and now owned 10+ of the Redd/Prince, and there were a number of others of this card in other sets, meaning it was in effect, the hardest to come by, despite having 10 more than the Stockton/Hinrich #/12.
However, a break through came when I was directed to the one they call 'Tim' from HK by Mike Lee and we started talking and he said he could find me 1 and we'd do a deal. However yesterday I recieved an EMS Express package randomly and what was inside? The card I needed!!!
So in presenting this completed set you you all I have to say 2 very big thank yous.
