Both of these cards ended at $30 exactly ..... one is /5 weak patch and the other is /20 nice patch , Which one would you personally prefer ? I always thought the lower the serial number the more expensive because of supply / demand . Which do you think collectors are more after ?
On some flawless cards , I;ve seen a /25 with a better patch then the 1/1 !
In the perfect world .... a low numbered card with an awesome patch would be great , lol
me personally like lower # cards as there is less out there.
As for patches yeah that def something i have seen in the little time i have been collecting / looking at cards on ebay and other sites.
Crazy to think something like /5's have average patches.
I'd go for the better patch if I was only going for 1 of them. The only difference is the lower numbered one has green foil instead of silver. Another reason why all these parallels are ridiculous!
I'd get both lol
Did they have different end times? Sometimes I find that prices are lower when a product is first released as not everyone knows they are out yet and miss the auction so you find some differences in prices. I've found that a lot with /75 Immaculate RPA's versus the /25 version, it's weird.
I paid the same price for an /10 as I did the /5. Both of them I was prepared to pay more (with a higher allowance for the /5) but the other bids were what dictated the price. However, if the higher numbered card looked a lot better than he lower numbered one, and you could only choose one, it would depend on what you were collecting more - the lower numbered because you might not see another, or the higher numbered because it was a nicer looking one for your collection.
I usually tend to go for the lower numbered one with bad patch , I guess its just limited supply make me go for them , Im the type that tries to collect a full set , ( 1/1, /5 , /10 , /25 ex ) And the lower numbered ones rarely pop up . Lower # > higher # better patch
I do think Panini should look into this and give a patch on a card accordingly to their serial # ......... having a flawless /25 with a better patch then the platinum 1/1 is ridiculous , low numbered cards should have sick patches , anything higher numbered should have a less attractive patch
