recently i won an ebay auction on ebay and i've noticed it only accepted international money orders not paypal. does anyone know how much to send one and how to.any help will be great.thanks
yeah, its probably not the safest way, so you probably only going to want to do it with ebay stores or trusted sellers... its just like a money order from australia post, so i cant imagine why the seller wouldnt accept it, probably best to ask them to make sure first.
just make sure when u send it keep the copy so if something happen ebay can help u a little bit. it happen to me b4 the seller didnt send the item but i kept a copy of the money order went thru ebay process and after 1 1/2 months got all my money back.
how long will it take for the $$$ to arrive to the seller?.also should the money be sent in us funds or aussie funds because i won the auction on us ebay.thanks

haha gemz, that;'s a very good idea lol. but don't you think if some stranger gets the hand on the order, they would take and claim the money.btw how much do do the prepaid internation envelops cost and is it reliable to send like that.thanks
If it's not and you couldnt be arsed chasing a refund in the event they run with ya money, I'd send it normal Air Mail.
Western Union MO's can be traced, I've had to do it once, but after I sent the Seller an email saying I had the # and was in the process of contacting WU, the card arrived within a few days.... (after about 30).
Good luck with it.
Last time I accidently did that (had a sniper set after only looking at the auction once, and didnt look for PayPal acceptance), I contacted them and said I couldnt pay for it, would they mind re-listing, or offering 2nd chance. I said I'd PayPal any small charges they got on the "sale" from me. They were cool with it and just re-listed it.

pre paid international envelope i think is 1 dollar or something. dont worry the money order is only warrant to the person whom u sending the payment to. so if let say joe bloke is the guy and some1 open the envelope they cant cash the money unless they show an i.d that he is joe bloke. also i dont think he will make a fake id just to make a few bills.
the name of the person will be included in the money order!
haha that reminds me exactly of registered mail in australia.anyway i've decided to use registered mail for the the money order to be on the safe side of things.just a question how much does registered mail cost.thanks
