Looking to sell up most of my PC and was wondering what people think about prices at the moment. I am not looking to profit on the hobby but I don't want to be completely ripped either. I was going to wait until the season kicks off before throwing stuff on the bay but with the new rookie class and Immaculate/Flawless it seems like there really isn't an ideal time to sell. What are people's thoughts?

I think it depends what you're selling.

You can always put up a price you want and see how you go.

I'm more than happy to pay market value ANY time of year for cards I'm chasing:)

I reckon I could hold out that long maybe before prizm hits might be a good time. I have seen so many cheap sales of late and when selling off my AFL/NRL I got completely ripped and didn't want that to happen again.

Can I ask the reason you're selling up? I know a lot of people have been feeling burnt out with the over saturation and others are just tired of the dodgy practices in the hobby, so I was interest to know your motivation.

Anyways, best of luck with moving your stuff.

Not selling up completely just more of a spring clean to pay some bills. I have my PC focused well now but have picked up a lot of non-PC stuff which I no longer need.

Yeah I am holding out, the general rule is that if you sell in season you have a better chance. I reckon whilst there will be hype with the new rookie class if you release in late October-December then that is probably the best choice seeing that not too many get into the cheap releases and hopefully Immac and Flawless are sold out by then lol.

I tend to find that I can snag a few bargains in December-January. People are less inclined to buy cards this time (xmas spending) and/or are away.
