Selling on eBay - listing on US or AUS eBay?

I'm hoping some of the members here might have experience with this and can offer some advice.

I've got some WoW TCG Loot cards I was wanting to sell and the eBay market here in Aus underperforms when trying to sell these cards.

So my question is if I wanted to list them to sell in the US am I better to actually list them from the US eBay site (sell for USD), or just list them on eBay Australia and offer postage options to the US?

I had a look at listing them on US eBay and I'd need to set up policies for postage and payments and all that sort of stuff and with postage options the drop down menu didn't offer the options I'd need, so it all seems a bit hard.

Aside from those obvious hurdles is there any other "seller beware" things I should consider also?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!!

Thanks

I've listed a few items on eBay.com using my AU user ID,

The main issue I had, were funds stay on hold until goods are delivered or 21days, so I had to use the tracking service to prove they got delivered. So if your listing as BIN, just include postage costs with your selling price, much easier that way.

I had 1 eBay rep say it's only for the first 3 months, while another said it will stay like this all the time..

If you use BIN than you'd have to build in the price to include tracking? Aus Post standard airmail is $2.70, with signature on delivery is $14.90 and with tracking is $21.10 so other than standard airmail building in any of the other costs would make the item not worth buying for them \ unsellable for me. But without tracking or signature on delivery as a seller you leave yourself wide open to dodgy claims. Is that basically how it works?

Spot on...

Otherwise you can just list them on AU eBay and use the delivery service you just showed, much cheaper and int buyers will see it. Not much can be done about scams saying it didn't show up.. At least your funds won't be on hold like selling on US eBay

Good idea. Might just do that.
