Selectors' axe poised over out-of-form White's head

Outstanding column by Dean Jones. Regardless of whether you agree with his opinion on Cameron White's position, Deano's dissection of his technique is fascinating reading.

This is not the first time that Deano hasd provided an in-depth insight into an aspect of cricket from a former players' viewpoint, I hope that he can in some way be involved in Australian cricket after the "review".

White has been rubbish all summer. I laugh when his stats come up, I laugh when they say he is a bat/spin. When did he last bowl?

There is absolutely no point picking him because he 'is a good captain' or 'tactician'. So what. It's like picking him because 'he's a good bloke'. LOL.

i rate white as a bowler, he shld be the alrounded smith is trying to be, hes a far better batsman and bowler then smith and is just as good in the field sure hes in a slump but who in the aussie side hasnt been the last 2 years?? siddle?? watson?? australian selectors need a massive kick in the bum with half the side surposed to be the best australia can put out there on the field?? i think not..
