Select are stoked with franklin as now they dont have to deal with questions of why they didnt choose waite hahah they will only do big name player from a less popular team i can guarantee it!!
Waite did deserve it had a massive game against the best team in the comp. Buddy kicked 8 against one of the worst teams. Plus it helps select get a card out of the way for North Melbourne.
My gut feel is that every team will get a "Hilite"this year.....get the Roos out of the way in case they don't actually have another "Hilite" later on.
In saying this would have bought a Franklin, so I guess I saved my money.
