Select does it again. STRIKE ERROR CARD.

This may be old news... Im not sure.

It would appear as though the Broncos #14 card in the Strike set is not Ben TeÃ³. Its actually a picture of Alex Glenn. As shown below.

The first picture is the card in question. The second card is Alex Glenn.

I thought the clubs could decide what players get cards but as for review i assume maybe just one marketing person from the NRL reviews the product before release. (could you imagine chasing up 16 clubs)

might be a good question to ask that guy from Select that has just joined up.

That's pathetic. It's pretty offensive too as they don't even look much alike other than they are both kiwis. I'm also really surprised this has only come up now... pretty much shows the interest in base sets is pretty close to 0.

I am very interested in the base set as I do get every card signed by each player... well try too. I don't chase the inserts unless they are Titans cards. It got by me also but got confused with the cards this afternoon when sorting, I put Teo' cards in with My Glenn cards because I looked at the photo rather than the name.

Does anyone have a list of all the error cards there have been since the 2000 set and a list of which cards have been corrected?

also if you check out the Dragons logo card, it has established 1921, then it has 1 premiership, now it's one or the other either established 1921 16 premierships, or established 1999 1 premiership....

Blade, you are correct. I have checked out how this has happened and the file name for the image was incorrectly named by the league photographers that we use. From there we have dowloaded it and kept it as Ben Ta'o because it was a good image (although the wrong player) which is hard to get early in the season when we are putting the 2nd series together. Once cards have been finalised they are all sent for approval (id & stats/copy).

it may be a file name mistake and these things happen but its funny how it took nearly 2 weeks after release for someone to find the mistake and that was only because he sorted his cards by the players face
