Seeking advice- Regrettable sale.

Hey guys been a while since I was on here, and unfortunately due to some unforeseen medical problems I am forced to sell my I.P sig collection. I am after advice on what people think I should do with them.

I have complete signed sets of the following including official album.

2010 Champions
2011 Champions
2011 Strike (in progress of obtaining last card)

I also have a 2012 Champions set missing 10 or so cards.

What I'm wondering is if you guys think I should sell them as complete sets or if I should break them into team sets?

I would be asking for expressions of interest before I break the sets up as I wouldn't want to be stuck with half sets.

Let us know what you think, feel free to express interest in team sets also.

Will be a bit of a rapid sale as I need money ASAP.

I say break up in sets ppl want there team sets but u might find a few ppl lookin for full sets.... Depends on prices I get bulldogs sets

tough question I was thinking of doing the same I collect full signed sets but would maybe sell team sets. depending on price per full set compared to price per team set which you may ending up with some team sets left. Good luck

Thanks guys. Makes me feel sick knowing the work i put in to finishing them, but the big C doesn't care about things like that. Will post in sales thread for expressions of interest.

if you have the patience and dedication to collect the IP autos for all these sets, you will have the patience and dedication to beat it....

Do not sell them as a full set,if you sell them as team sets you will do ok otherwise if you are going to sell them as singles on ebay do it now before the price rise on the 1st of may will hit you in a big way do it now do it fast.
I am not saying this to pick up bargins it just ebay fees are going up and they will eat into your final price.

On the cards, Individual players like Lockyer can get good $$$ so I would probably sell him individually. Other than that I would go team set.

Full set wise, Test the water on Ebay with a buy it now price you would like to get. As hard as it may be, tell your story in your listing and you may get a cashed up buyer that will happily take them off your hands to help you out. (You never know, The right person may look at your listings at the right time)

Im still keen on your Hegarty and Lauaki 2009 cards

I would also take the punt on selling them as a whole set first, there are some seriously cashed up buyers so you never know.

Team sets will take longer, yes you would get a premium for some teams but unders on other teams so could work out the same $$ for a lot less time and effort.

Best of luck, I'll chuck a bid or two in for you full sets.

Thanks for the support guys. It's my amazing wife who is actually facing the battle.

It would appear at this time my guardian angel has arrived and I may be able to hold onto some of my collection.

If it changes at all I will definitely be giving first chance to my OZT family.
