Rookie card is one of the most overused expressions in the hobby now there are so many releases.
And Jimbo don't be put off by high end stuff. Everyone post what you like as once you own a card and don't plan on selling it the value of the card doesn't matter ;-) Value is only relative to resale.
Cmon guys I want to see stuff I haven't seen before from more members!
Well mine would have to be this one, from one of the most famous sets of all time. In hand it absolutely flawless and I'm very suprised it didnt get a 10. It was hard to choose but it would have to be my favourite.
if im excluding my Ricky rc's. Id have to say the Bron simply because its my only graded card, and hes not a bad player either lol
not too sure how the centering got only 8.5 its at least a 9 in my eye and that would of gave it a 9.5 grade.
I bet a few of you thought I would have picked one of my Exquisites, but deep down, I love those Vintage Guys, and I can't go past Bill Russell. Even if the condition is not good, I picked this one up quite some time ago. It got lost in my collection for a while, but about a year ago, rediscovered it.
The one I am after is George Mikan, but still to get my hands on one of these.
Well due to Chad pointing out that it wasnt actually RC, the Robinson is pushed off the list... still my fav card tho
While Lawrence Roberts hasnt done much in the L, he was a rebounding monster in college, and with Gasol out, he should be getting a few minutes...
Ive picked this card as it was the first decent card I pulled after resuming my card collecting ways, as its a Topps Bazooka Fortune and #3/5. Hopefully it meets the requirements of the thread lol
